Lawson Caldwell is a member of the Dramatist Guild of America and the Chicago Dramatist Playwrights
Network. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Masters Degree in
Speech and Theatre from the University of South Carolina. After teaching on the college level, Lawson
worked in the broadcasting industry for fifteen years. Lawson is the author of a popular children’s book,
“Colors Belong to Everyone” sold in stores across the country.
