Synopsis
Time – Present and flashbacks in 1938, 1942, 1946, 1947
Place - A mountain cabin
Set design – The cabin is really more of a house.  The living room is large.  Rustic but nice.  There is a
stairway that leads to five bedrooms.  Downstairs, there is a front door to the outside, a door to the kitchen, a
closet and a cabinet with medals and trophies.  The living room also has a large fireplace, several wing chairs,
a sofa, a dining table and a side board.

Tyler and Bart are in the process of breaking up after an eleven year relationship.  Bart had an affair with
someone they both knew.  At Tyler’s grandfather’s request they have come to the mountain house for five
days to try to mend the bitter feelings.  Tyler has asked their best friend, Field, to join them.  As they converse
during the five days, the play incorporates flashbacks of the grandfather as a young man with his boyfriend.
